Waxing Crescent

Description
This photo was taken on the first day of the Waxing Crescent Moon, the day after the New Moon. On this day the moon is only visible for a short period of time as it sets in the NW shortly after sunset. This photo was taken about an hour East of 29 Palms in the CA Desert from a service road along the Colorado river aqueduct.
